This product is designed for marking emergency exit routes and guide pathways in dark conditions, and can be used in high-traffic areas. These signs are manufactured by Permalight Germany and are produced using high-density photoluminescent rare-earth pigments that are baked onto aluminum plates (baked enamel coating), providing high durability and long service life. By absorbing light energy (natural or fluorescent) for 10–50 minutes, they are capable of emitting afterglow light for 8–36 hours.

Photoluminescent emergency exit safety signs (also known as glow-in-the-dark emergency exit signs) are types of signs or indicators that, during power outage or complete darkness, provide sufficient illumination to show exit routes, using photoluminescence (glow-in-the-dark pigments) or internal light sources.
